Child Advocacy: The Miami County
YMCA is an advocate for children and their appropriate development in a save
and loving environment. As such, the YMCA and its employees shall
report all suspected cases of child abuse to the appropriate authorities as
required by state laws. Child abuse includes non-accidental physical
injury, neglect, sexual molestation, and emotional abuse. Incidents of
child abuse shall be reported regardless of whether they occur at the YMCA
or elsewhere.
