Miami County YMCA Alexander-Davis Child Care Center
Program Philosophy
The Child Care Program is a full time state licensed facility designed to meet the developmental needs of children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. With each program's schedule, each child has opportunities to grow creatively, socially, and academically, through hands on experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self directed activities and small group time. The staff is supportive, nurturing, and responsive to each child's individual needs. Parents are welcome to visit their children throughout the day if possible, and classroom volunteers are always welcome.
