Age: 6 weeks - 9 years.

Children need to be signed in.
Parents need to note where they may be reached in the building. Children may
not leave the Nursery once they are signed in.

Staff will issue nametags to the child
and the parent.

Parents need to ask before coming over
the gate. This is for the safety of the children.

NO BARE FEET. All children need to
wear socks and/or shoes.

Children should be fed prior to coming to the Child Watch. Numbers may not permit the staff to allow snacks.

Healthy snacks are permitted. Please label all containers with child's name. Please provide a spill proof cup. All beverages must be clear in nature. NO GUM, NO
SUCKERS, NO POPCORN, AND NO PEANUT RELATED FOODS!

Staff cannot heat food or prepare bottles.

All diapers and wipes must be supplied by the parent. (Label wipe container with name.)

Staff may not be able to assist with
potty training if the numbers do not permit.

If a child is disruptive or becomes restless due to duration in the Child Watch area, the parent will be summoned and the child will need to be removed.

Sick children cannot be cared for in the Child Watch area. Medication cannot be administred by the staff.

Any signs of a contagious disease may prevent the child from staying.

Children of members or close family members (i.e. grandparents, uncle, aunt, and siblings) will be cared for at no extra charge. Nonmember's children will be cared for in the nursery at the rate below. Members who are babysitting for children who are members will not be charged. Members who are babysitting for nonmember children will be charged the rate below.
Rate: $0.50 per 1/2 hour per child. ** NONMEMBERS**

The Child Watch is not a state-licensed program. It is considered "drop-in" care.

The Child Watch is provided as a service to members of the YMCA and class participants while in class or working out in the building. Children may not be left in the Child Watch area if the parent leaves the building.
