Ice Cream Social
Get together once a month for an ice cream social. You will have the opportunity to make your own sundae with all the toppings.
Monthly Calendar
Check out the monthly calendar located at the access desk filled with
loads of fun activities happening at the teen center. Some of the activities
are free and some are a low cost activity. If you have any activities that
you would like to have at the teen center, put your suggestion in the
suggestion box located at the access desk.
Teen Trips
We will be taking trips throughout the year. We will be looking
into skiing, rock climbing, sporting events and more. Check at the
Teen Center to find out the important dates.
Are you interested in local, state or
federal government issues? Do you like politics? If so, this is
the club for you. Teens experience civic leadership, the role and
process of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of state
government and citizenship. Students work on legislation or a court case and
have the opportunity to present their work at the Capitol building using the
Legislative Chambers and Supreme Court Offices. Participants will have the
opportunity to meet other teens within the State of Ohio who are also
involved in this program. Please contact Donn Craig, Sr. Program
Director at 937-778-5247 if you are interested in this program.

Leaders Club is a service organization that provides service to the YMCA
and the community. As a member of the Leaders Club, teens learn new
skills, expand leadership abilities, meet other like-minded teens in the
community and have fun while they keep growing both spiritually and
personally. They also learn skills in leadership development, social
development, services learning and personal development. This club is
part of the Miami County YMCA and is for teens that are in grades 7-12.
This club is run by a group of teen officers with high standards of
excellence who want to make a difference in their community. Leaders
are responsible to accumulate at least 60 hours each year in service, attend
meetings, training and social events along with having fun! You must
be a YMCA member to join Leaders Club. For more information please
contact Lauren Farley at 778-5247
