Activate your aqua exercise energy for variety! SilverSplash offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. Class will be in the shallow end of the large pool. SilverSneakers Members are free.Aqua Motion
A shallow water, low-impact class that provides increased cardiovascular endurance through the resistance of water. A lower intensity is maintained to help build strength using forward, backward, and lateral movements. Participants can choose to work at their own level.Aqua Power
This shallow water (chest deep) conditioning program is designed for adults, both swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Participants achieve and maintain a high level of physical fitness by moving against the resistance of the water. Working out in water improves muscle tone, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility while reducing stress to joints.Deep Water Power
The ultimate NO IMPACT workout that takes place in the deep area of the pool and exercise flotation belts will be provided. This workout is actually three in one...aerobic, muscle conditioning, and a flexibility workout.Arthritis Aquatic Program
The arthritis class is a gentle warm water exercise program led by a certified Arthritis Foundation instructor, which soothes stiff joints and aching muscles. The YMCA program is conducted in the warm shallow pool, with no swimming skills required. The class is designed to improve and maintain joint flexibility, decrease pain, increase muscle tone and coordination and best of all - have fun and relax. Great for people with arthritis, frbromyalgia, or people who just want to exercise in the warm water.
AOA Aquatic Exercise
This class is for men and women 55 years and older who are interested in exercise and stretching in warm water. This low-intensity class will include range of motion, flexibility and strengthening exercises as well as endurance intervals. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace.
Aqua Spa (formerly MS)
Low intensity warm water class. Helps improve balance, stamina and flexibility in a relaxing environment. A great class for people with joint or muscle pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain.
